Set in the heart of Florida Disney World is big – over 43 square miles in fact! The four main theme parks within Disney World offer a huge variety of choice from the Magic Kingdom where you can experience a variety of exciting rides, see your favourite Disney characters in parades and watch impressive firework displays, to Epcot where all the attractions and entertainment are dedicated to technological innovation and you’ll find the culture and cuisine there from eleven different nations. There’s Animal world which is home to more than 250 different species and where the animals roam across 500 acres of land – it’s the largest animal themed park in the world! The fourth theme park is Disney’s Hollywood studios where you can see glimpses of what goes on behind the scenes with live shows, backstage tours and all the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood heyday.

Family holidays at Disney World Florida means every day can be different. As well as the four theme parks mentioned above, there are two dedicated water parks, and of course within Disney World, but outside all the parks, there is also a whole lot more to see and do with four award winning golf courses, entertainment such as the Disney quest indoor interactive theme park, and many shops and restaurants all within easy reach of the Disney resort hotels and theme parks.

Just like with all the entertainment that’s available on Disney World Holidays, the choice of where to stay is pretty wide too, you can choose from deluxe villas, various levels of hotel accommodation and even camping, there’s something to suit every visitor and every pocket too. Visiting is more affordable than you might think with so many options for where to stay, and with the Disney Dining Plan available that can save you up to 30% off meals for the family as well, and lots of different theme park ticket options depending on the length of your stay. Under 3’s get free entry into the theme parks and water parks as well.

If you book your holiday early, you will find many tour operators offer special deals too which give you things such as a percentage off the cost of your holiday, free dining at selected Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, or special deals on ticket prices. Some even offer combinations of all of these which make it really much more affordable for a family.

Of course you don’t need to stay on site at one of the Disney Resort Hotels, you could just visit for the day (or over several days), but this is a place where there is so much to see and do that it’s worth staying as close as you can to where you want to be because time spent travelling to and from is time that you don’t have enjoying the attractions there.
